There is plenty to do for all the family including visiting the local art and craft shops or the local winery, golf, bowls, tennis, swimming, beach and river fishing, canoeing, boating and sailing or surfing at Hungry Head beach. It's a great afternoon stroll along the famous Urunga footbridge taking in the sunshine and fresh air while watching the abundant bird-life on the protected waters of the lagoon.

The most popular day trip is up the beautiful Bellinger Valley to historic Bellingen (15 mins) and onto the Dorrigo Plateau to the World Heritage listed Dorrigo National Park (40 mins). Coffs Harbour (25 mins) is an easy drive to the north. The Urunga Heads Holiday Park caters for all age groups with powered van sites and large grassy areas for tents including a laundry, mothers room & well-serviced amenity block. Sorry, no pets. Also available are new, one & two bedroom, self-contained holiday cabins. These are fully equipped and include colour TV, microwave, and all kitchenware. The cabins exclude linen and towels. We also have on-site vans available.

The adjoining reserve and foreshores that follow the Bellinger River have BBQ facilities, a children's playground and deep water boat ramps only minutes away.
